Making moonshots with an agency that pushes boundaries and aims for out-of-this-world ideas
Roth Media’s core purpose is to distill culturally relevant innovations that shape African communications. Put simply, they aim to “make moonshots”. This idea was taken and used as the core of their identity. The brandmark was based on phases of the moon, and can shift and change dependent on which division of the business it represents. The visual language uses the unique letterforms to create striking graphic elements, while the imagery used focuses on a fresh, urban vibe. A sub-brand for their position as “The Innovation Pundits” was also created using (obviously) an astronaut that interacts with the type and layouts.
